Warm Home Discount Scheme
The Warm Home Discount Scheme is a one-off £150 discount off your electricity bill. If you’re eligible, your electricity supplier will apply the discount to your bill. You may be able to get the discount on your gas bill instead if your supplier provides you with both gas and electricity and you’re eligible.

Cold Weather Payments
If you receive Pension Credit, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, income-related Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit you will automatically receive a one-off Cold Weather Payment from the Government each time it gets very cold.
Winter Fuel Payment
If you were born before 23 September 1958 you could get either £200 or £300 to help you pay your heating bills for winter 2024 to 2025. There is more information on UK Government website - Winter Fuel Payment
If you have heard about the changes to Winter Fuel Payments, please be aware that you must apply for Pension Credit by 21 December 2024 to qualify for the 2024 to 2025 Winter Fuel Payment.

Mortgages: Help to Stay Wales Scheme
The aim of this scheme is to reduce your existing monthly mortgage payments to an affordable level to allow you to continue to live in and own your own home. It offers help to homeowners who are in financial difficulty in paying their mortgage commitments to their primary lender through offering support via a shared equity loan.
If you struggling to meet your mortgage payments and your household income is lower than £67,000, the value of your home does not exceed £300,00, you live in Wales, and this is your only home then you may be eligible for help. Visit the Welsh Government website for further information.
