Walking near the Dyfi

The northern boundary of Ceredigion is marked by the river Dyfi. Its estuary is known for Cors Fochno – a nature reserve for its large expanse of lowland peatbog, Ynys Las – the largest network of sand dunes in Ceredigion and Ynys Hir – an RSPB reserve which is a haven for birds.

This selection of walks offers views across the river and estuary into Gwynedd, as well as visiting several small villages in the north of Ceredigion.
