Transforming Towns Placemaking Grant 2025-2027

Welsh Government Placemaking Grant for the Mid-Wales region will provide a capital investment of £4 million over the next two years to support and regenerate towns centres across Ceredigion and Powys.

This fund is open for application on a first come first serve basis.

The Transforming Towns Placemaking Grant provides capital funding for local businesses, social enterprises, and public bodies to support for a wide range of projects that can help to rejuvenate town centres across Mid-Wales. Potential projects include green infrastructure developments, public realm improvements, installing digital infrastructure in town centres, to internal and external commercial and residential property improvements and much more.

Potential projects will need to satisfy eligibility criteria which includes demonstrating clear links to a current Town Place Plan. Further information can be found on our Placemaking page.

As well as the need to satisfy the Transforming Towns Placemaking Grant Framework criteria as well as Ceredigion County Council’s policies i.e. procurement.

Applicants can discuss potential projects with their local project officer who can advise whether the project is eligible.
